Evaluation

Welcome to the Their Past Your Future Evaluation and Case Studies. In this section you will find the full evaluation report of the Veterans Reunited programme, supported by the BIG Lottery Fund. You will also find the Evaluation Summary document and practical case studies based on the experiences of the Their Past Your Future team, all available for free download.

The evaluation focussed on learning outcomes for participants in the wider programme, but specifically those involved in Their Past Your Future, the educational strand of Veterans Reunited. Learning outcomes for participants in Their Past Your Future were developed and evaluated using the Inspiring Learning for All framework. This initiative was launched by the Museums Libraries and Archives Council of England in 2004 and provides a basis for planning and evaluating projects to focus on the delivery of a wide range of learning outcomes.

Evaluation of the programme was carried out by Morris Hargreaves McIntyre

Case Studies
Their Past Your Future is an innovative educational programme featuring a range of learning activities, each with particular problems and challenges to be faced. From the development of a UK-wide intergenerational partnerships scheme to the creation of exhibition resources for the blind and visually impaired, our case studies provide ideas and good practice tips for professionals in the cultural sector.

Veterans Reunited Evaluation
The Veterans Reunited programme succeeded in engaging over 11 million people in England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales in a wide range of innovative learning, intergenerational and community activities during 2004 and 2005. Tell Us What You Have Been Up To
Their Past Your Future has now been running since 2004, and in this time we have provided hundreds of young people with incredible learning experiences through our overseas commemorative visits programme. We want to hear from people who have taken part in TPYF Commemorative Visits, in order to better understand the impact that it has had on them since.
