The following pages are extracts from a presentation prepared by two students from Midhurst Intermediate School, West Sussex. Students from the school visited the Menin Gate and First World War related sites in France and Belgium in November 2004 as part of the TPYF Commemorative Visits Programme. The group visited museums, memorials and battlefields, to explore the experiences of troops in the First World War and methods of remembrance. Students presented their experiences of the visit and of remembrance to local schools.
