24 A Level students from Cheney School, Oxford visited a number of key Second World War sites in Thailand and Japan, as winners in the Their Past Your Future Commemorative Visits Competition.

Pupils from Ullswater Community College, Penrith, travelled to Warsaw to participate in the commemoration of the sixtieth anniversary of the Warsaw Uprising, and to learn more about the battle’s significance within Polish history as well as the broader history of the Second World War
