Kinder Children's Choirs of the High Peaks

Members of the Kinder Children's Choirs of the High Peak travelled to Normandy as the only British voluntary organisation actively participating in the official sixtieth anniversary programme of events commemorating the Battle of Normandy. Singing at key commemorative concerts and services, including at St. Lo Cathedral and the American Cemetery overlooking Omaha Beach, the group also visited key historical sites, museums and memorials.
