BBC “D-Day 60” Filming Abbey Grange Pupils

As first prize winners in the Their Past Your Future D-Day and Beyond Competition, pupils from Abbey Grange High School, Leeds, won a VIP trip to participate in the D-Day sixtieth anniversary commemorations in Normandy. They were filmed in Portsmouth prior to their departure live on BBC1 as part of the “D-Day 60” programming, and also appeared live on Sky News, ITN News, BBC Radio and local television talking about their experiences.
